Born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1923, Dan Koral practiced photography since childhood. Living in Los Angeles most of his adult life
he founded a lithographic printing company in 1946. With a profound interest in the print he spent many formative years in
the darkroom and constantly experimented with new techniques for printmaking from film. The advent of digital photography opened
new vistas and ability for fine art giclee printmaking. The photography displayed is a result of the hobby of growing roses at home. more
