I'm a retired US Navy Captain and former business executive. While I have not had any academic training in painting, I've been privileged to work under the guidance of several of today's masters. I studied drawing with Thomas Deininger of the Newport (Rhode Island) Art Museum and oil painting with Scott Christensen in his Idaho studio.
