Katherine S. McDermott, paints from her studio in her home in the Moreno Valley (near the Resort town of Angel Fire) of Northern New Mexico. Although she first sold her work regularly when she was only 16 (charcoal and pen/ink drawings), it was after moving to the area in 1994 that she began pursuing her art on a full-time basis. She painted her first watercolor in 1996 and has been accepted into a number of juried shows - including the well known 'Masterworks of New Mexico'.
