A Very Busy Autumn

Six more days until the Autumn truly begins, but the weather has begun to chill in the very early hours of the morning, and some of the more cold sensitive plants have begun to look a little wilted and forlorn. I had a very busy day painting, harvesting and preparing corn for the freezer, determining exactly which pickle recipe I'm going to be using for my garlic dills tomorrow morning, and digging up my old recipe for prizewinning corn relish. And I've begun really looking at the "local" galleries and getting a better feel for what they're seeking.

Its very nearly time to haul out my alpaca fiber and my spinning wheel for the cold weather, and to pull out my quilt top, pieced last Winter, so I can get the hand-quilting done on it, and to really look seriously at finishing the blanket I began crocheting right after Thanksgiving last year.Add to that my youngest daughter's wedding upcoming, and I can see that its going to be a very busy several months for me.
