Most photographers like the idea of black and white photography but donít like all the time involved in creating wonderful images. There is a solution now. It is from NIK software. The program is called Silver efex pro 2. The beauty of this program is it is easy to use and the results are captivating. You drag your color image to the programs interface and the fun begins. You have a choice of several preset options. Some are high contrast,sepia ,infrared and many more. You can adjust the image with digital color filters and easily change the tonality with a few simple sliders. For a quick adjustment you can change the brightness,Contrast and Structure sliders. For the more traditional shooters you can emulate different film types and film speeds with a click of a mouse.
