Finding Time for Art by Gina A

For me painting and drawing are as essential as breathing. It is something that I must do and want to do. It is a passion that comes from within my very soul. But in this busy world it is so difficult and I'm sure I'm not the only one, to find time for my passion. I must make time and make painting a priority to renew my happiness, refresh my spirit and renew my inner peace. Because my painting takes me to another place deep within where I need to go and return. I am sure many artists who draw, paint, sing, and photograph feel the same. It is not a like for art but a must for art. A must to create with every fiber of our being and to share.

You can find time for art in many ways and it doesn't just have to be your own art. View others art, go to a museum, look at photography, art fairs, view paintings by the masters or beginners. By making time for art in general, we are looking into anothers world and seeing what they see or what we see from it. We are seeing into the very window of an artist's soul. Therefore there is always time for art.
