I kind of giggled through making this one, an could not just pick out one song for it. All through it I kept thinking about what "following your passion" means. I could not help but be amused at the different views the sexes have about what passion is. Men---the whole hot blooded vibe an women going:
"Oh yea? Prove it boy" egging them on.
You do have to find the humor in the fact, despite them being opposite they are both perfectly suited for getting each other motivated to "get it done". We piss each other off just enough, in the right proportion it adds fuel to our ideas enough to back them up with deeds. But passion is not just about sex or the sexes. It's something bigger then both. It's the drive in us to not just to think about great ideas: but having the heart to put them into action. Not just dream about them but pursue those ideas with all we got in us. So passion to me speaks of putting ideas to the test. Pushing ourselves, or beliefs. Willing our ideas into manifestation by following through with action. It's the whole concept of nothing moves, until you make it. So to me passion is a bridge between, heart & mind. Some would even say it's the bridge that brings your heaven down to earth... or your hell if you didn't think things through carefully. You have to believe in it, follow it, do it --not just think about it---for what you hold inside to show up outside in this world. It the ingredient that makes your inner reality become real.
The perfect example I can give you is myself. I can sit and talk about ideas, concepts and art until dooms day. I can tell you about all the lovely beautiful ideas in my head. It might inspire you for a while, but won't mean much when I kick the damn bucket if I didn't get busy putting those ideas into some type of form. My ideas are not art if it never hits a canvas or the light of day. So if I am not going to follow my passion, I probably should just shut up about it. If I don't act on my passion, bridge the worlds between ideas and action it's never going to happen. So, there is a time to just:
"Shut up, an just do it."
Passion is words & deeds walking hand in hand, bridging the gap between.
It's not just about sex folks, as much as I find that funny.
Its about not just the belief but the DRIVE to back up those beliefs in our actions to create what you Will. Not just wish for it.
