Update - I have changed my mind! Decided to download a digital art programme to create something for FAA and it is definitely harder than I expected. I think anyone creating great digital art has to develop many skills and it definitely requires a lot of artistic ability. Thanks for prompting me to go back and do this again with this in mind.

Nothing beats getting messy with a paint brush! Traditional art has the natural difficulty of blending and mixing colours. You can't simply 'undo' traditional art for example like you can digital. So, I believe that traditional rather than digital art is more 'art'. Digital art challenges what we understand art to be. Is it real art? Yes, I think it is. Some digital art is clever: 3D/games. But the 'original' is on a disc somewhere. It has a whole world of appreciation in it's own right maybe?
