I think every photographer starts with a list of his/ her “must’ work on” photos when they return from the field and into the darkroom. On one outing in 2010, I shot a variety of autumn scenics around a tiny meadow pond in the Cherokee National Forest. When I returned home and began post production I completed one image and it eventually made its way into the Arts in the Airport- Knoxville, TN Spring 2011 exhibition. The rest of the images were not worked on and shelved until now. Recently I went back and reviewed all images from that shoot and found this wonderful image from that same day. Moral to the story- always review your work and then review the work again at a later point in time. You might find some incredible images from the field that you either passed on the first time or perhaps just missed entirely.
