Hollow smiles
Parading into a light of unintentional madness.
Let us beckon a plight of undesirable sadness
Bestowed and borrowed twisted chained up thoughts
Cut its throat into shreds with shards of bone.
I am pretentious glee caressing its splintered lips.
And as I smile with a morbid expression
Mirrored by hollow delight I bow to the butcher in a flightless plea.
We are nothing more than glorified meat.
