Radiant Purple Tulips in Salt Lake City

The fluctuating weather seems to have had a harmful effect on some flowering plants here, shortening their life cycles. Near the spot of these stunning tulips in Temple Square garden, I discovered a flower bed with artificial tulips planted among the live pansies and daffodils. In the eight years I've lived here, that was a first.
