It's easy to "see' when there's obvious color to tempt our senses, but an artist has an obligation to report what he "sees" when the obvious is hidden.
I have spent the last 15 months chronicling the streets of various cities, looking for the beauty ( and outrageous abstracts!) than are availavbe for the taking!
i don't have a fancy camera or lens..or even a tripod. i don't agonize over the proper lighting and never stage a setting....i just shoot.
this experiment continues, but my original supposition stays true...an artist's eye is an artist's eye, regardless of what he puts in his hand.
i encourage all of you to step outside your medium of choice and take a good look at the world around you!
