Global Family and Community

This contest celebrates Global Family Day (January 1)!! Women in Art 278 invites all female artists to submit their art that connects with the themes: Family, Global Family and Community.

The winner will have her artwork featured in Women in Art 278 magazine's January issue.

Women in Art 278 magazine is dedicated to showcasing female artists across the globe and artistic genres. It is through art that we are able to convey our cultural values, experiences and often explain what words cannot. You may learn more about our magazine at www.Art278.org.

-------------- GUIDELINES --------------

Your artwork must pertain to family, global family or community - whether abstractly or directly. Snapshots and family photos or archival photography not made by the artist herself will be removed.

The winner of the competition will be decided through voting by the general public. The winner will be asked to provide a write up about their artwork and its connection to Family, Global Family and Community. If she is unable to do so, we will pass the award on to the next highest vote (and so on).

The write up can be done in the artist's native language. If the first place winner is a female, we will offer a complimentary page in Women in Art 278 magazine to showcase your piece. The artist must be able to provide a high resolution copy of the artwork (no watermark) in order to have it in the December issue of Women in Art 278.

Each participant may submit 10 images.
