Thank you to those that voted

This was an experiment for me. In the year I've been on FAA I've never before solicited a vote but I wanted to see how effective it can be. In reality it looks to be hit or miss, taking a lot of time with sporadic results. I received on average 1 vote for every 2 votes I made. The true value of this contest for me are the views and comments I've received within my portfolio. Even if I don't win this contest, those will remain and I thank you for them.

By participating for a few days I've seen a great many nice images and I've voted for some of them. However I have removed two of my images with their votes, leaving just this one. If you truly like it then please do vote for it but not because you are going to automatically receive a vote in return. I will continue to look through your images and vote for those that catch my eye, but no longer in return for votes.

Vote #26 for Native Flowers. It's a great classic scene! Also, I appreciate your comments in the original post. Whether or not I get 250 votes or hit the long shot of being selected for the commercial, a terrific side effect is the vast exposure that my photos are getting! Thank you all for your votes!

I've decided not to reciprocate one for one because I don't feel comfortable with vote solicitation. That said, so far I've voted for 7 or 8 of the images above on merit alone and a couple more are under consideration. If any of you voted for mine assuming one for one reciprocity, I will understand if you cancel your vote. I only hope that you originally voted for my image because you liked it and will not cancel your vote.

There are a lot of wonderful images entered so good luck to all of you!
