I am trying to play a bit of catch up on the votes by starting a review chain. Review other peoples photography and vote! Then - Reply to this post- with your votes and reviews and a link to your photos that you would like others to review and vote on.
Let me know and I will vote for yours back, until I run out of votes.
Its a collard lizard!!! I love these guys, they are just about one of the loveliest lizards native to phx. Thanks for posting the photograph of him. Lizards and reptiles do not get nearly enough attention in my opinion. Such wonderful colors and striking patterns! Voted.
About “Eyes under the gate” That was honestly the first time I’ve seen her do that. She was annoyed that I closed her inside the gate and I was on the other side. First there was a paw, and then the yowl “Human. Human! Where are you going?” So a got down on the ground to tell her it was alright “I’m just going for a walk, I’ll be back in a bit.” She continued to yowl at me; unable to see me, but able to her my voice. Then she plopped over and rolled onto her back. “Oh there you are!” She watched me from under the crack of the gate, seeming to ask “Can I go with you?”
Already voted for your "Boat ride in another thread", Its just stunning. I love that color and it was a tough choice too, that bridge is also perfection! Guys, seriously, Mario's work is just stunning. Go vote for it!
I developed a strategy early on and carefully looked through each persons entries and voted on only the image with the highest vote count. That means (since I have no votes left) that I voted for 100 people. That leaves me in a position to NOT be able to trade votes anymore. I have only this image left in the contest.
That being said, I do hope some of you will still vote for my image...I am getting so close with 127 votes at this very moment.
Good luck to everyone...when I see your link, I usually share it on my wall, too!
Hi Courtney - Where I live we have bright orange California poppies. The poppies that I posted were from the Texas Hill Country, where they are native. However...the ones pictured were growing at a farm where they harvest the seeds. - Lynn
