The Dark Horse

NO PHOTOGRAPHY. Only paintings and drawings.
BLACK HORSES, BLUE ROAN (these horses are an even, dark grey (NOT LIGHT GREY) and darker head and legs), LIVER CHESTNUT (Some have blonde, red or flaxen manes) ONLY. The darkest versions of these colors.
Please stick to these three colors. The horses bodies have to be all black, all dark, charcoal grey (blue roan), and all dark, dark brown (liver chestnut).


1. Enter up to 3 horse images
2. Horses must be the main subject. Objects or people near or on the horse okay.
3. Drawings and paintings only. NO PHOTOGRAPHY.
4. 100% digitally created painting are very welcome. No altered photos.
5. Be sure no frames or paper edges visible. Blurry, pixelated, exposed edges, and images that are too dark or over exposed will be removed from the contest.
6. Mythical, impressionistic, and abstract are very welcome
7. No nudes. Must be child safe images.

This contest can be shared on your Facebook pages, websites, twitter and blogs to generate votes and views.

Images not following the rules will be removed.

Each participant may submit 3 images.

1)   Votes may be cast by any visitor to FineArtAmerica.com (members and non-members).

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
