Creating art allows us to connect with the world around us. I like walking through the streets of a city and finding ways that artists have expressed themselves. Keri Smith defines guerilla art as '...any anonymous work (including but not limited to graffiti, signage, performance, additions, and decoration) installed, performed, or attached in public spaces, with the distinct purpose of affecting the world in a creative or thought-provoking way.'
This contest is open to photographs or paintings of street art, such as graffiti and examples noted above. No nudity please. Artwork should portray a message.
Members may submit up to 6 images. Top 3 winners will have a link to their artwork on my Pinterest board, http://pinterest.com/dream360/i-like-artists/, and will be featured on our Gallery's Facebook page, www.facebook.com/dream360gallery.
Each participant may submit 6 images.
