Artists Open Studio of James Christiansen in Modesto

Jim Christiansen is one of 57 participants in Stanislaus Artists Open Studio April 6 and 7. With the studio cleaned out for visitors this week, Jim will be open to drop in visitors Monday April 1 to Monday April 8, hours approximately same as Stanislaus Artists Open Studio weekend hours, 10 am to 6 pm, or by appointment. Maps for the Artist Open Studio weekend, available at $10 on site. Jim's studio includes his set up for painting, printmaking, art storage of approximately 100 framed pieces on site, hundreds more unframed in portfolio.

Studio is a late 1920s garage shop behind the 1928 residence Jim shares with his mother Virlee. Walk down the driveway to the shop entry. If the door open, come on in. Otherwise inquire at front door. 209 241 7130 gets you the artist direct.
