\\\"Explain Yourself\\\" will have its Opening Night Reception
on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 7-10 pm.

The exhibit will run from May 11 through June 2, 2013.

The Avenue 50 Studio is proud to present “Explain Yourself”, paintings by Frank Gutierrez.

Frank Gutierrez, known not only for autobiographical work, but for art that questions contemporary thinking, has produced a new series based on the fairy tale, Alice in Wonderland. Painting in a youthful, contemporary style, Gutierrez uses iconic imagery as a vehicle for his commentary. 

“Remember what the door mouse said, ‘feed your head’”.
