About the Event

Desert Horses (painted by women who ride them). Mother/Daughter artists Page Holland and Sunnie Holland will have a 7-month show at The Edge of The Cedars Museum in Blanding, Utah. Page and Sunnie are natives of Moab, Utah and their oil and acrylic paintings reflect their passion for the red-rock desert of Utah. Their heritage dates back to 1884 when their ancestors first came to settle this rugged country. Page and Sunnie ride, hike, boat and paint in this unique and beautiful country. The Edge of the Cedars Museum State Park showcases arts and dwellings of the oldest of inhabitants of South Eastern Utah; the mysterious Anazazi. The show opens July 1, 2009 and runs through January 31, 2010. More than 30 paintings will be on display. A reception will be held Thursday July 2 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Open to the public.
