End of Summer Plein Air Art Event

Calling all painters! This is going to be a very fun event. Happening in Murphy, NC on September 28th, please register early!
All paintings must be completed in the Murphy area on Saturday September 28th – rain or shine. Blank canvases and paper will be stamped on the back at the time of check-in between 8:30 am and 9 am at the Valley River Arts Guild Gallery, 33 Valley River Ave., Murphy. NC 28906. A brown bag lunch and map of locations will be given to participants.
Two paintings may be completed between 9 am – 4 pm for auction. Oil paintings should be pre-wired and works done on paper need to be matted and put in a protective sleeve for display. All work will need to be tagged on the back with the Artist’s name, address, and contact phone number.
The public will be invited to a Wine and Cheese Artists Reception and viewing of the artwork at 5 pm. The auction will start promptly at 6 pm at the Murphy Senior Center located on Alpine Street in Murphy, North Carolina.

Sales – This event is a fundraiser for the Valley River Arts Guild, Inc., a non-profit guild. The money from sales will be split 50/50 between the Guild and the Artist. Payments for all work sold will be mailed within two weeks. Any unsold paintings will be picked up by the artist or his/her representative immediately after the auction. There is no storage available.

Registration $15 for VRAG Guild members, $20 for everyone else!
