Invisible Touches

An exhibition of two Czech artists living in Brussels.
They will exhibit paintings and drawings, in case of Ilona Jilkova a set of pictures done in acrylics, in case of Ludvik Regner some drawings done by charcoal and mixed technique, as well as oil paintings and acrylic paintings (possibly also done by mixture of different techniques).

Ilona Jilkova

The exhibition of Ilona consists of acrylic paintings under the title Walk on the Ways of the Heart. As she is a former therapist, passionate about colours and their combinations, she uses acrylics and let her hand paint without self-censorship. Her paintings transmit a healing energy and are meant to be good and supportive friends. Before she starts painting she makes sure to be in a good mood so that the paintings can radiate positive energy. All of them work on both body and mind and therefore bring the whole human system into balance. Everyone can choose a picture intuitively and ask her to explain how this particular painting is beneficial for well-being.
In 2004, one year before she got recruited by the Council, she took a one-year course in painting techniques. And after a break she is back in the joyfully creative "vortex". You can have a look at her works here: http://ilona-svetluska.artistwebsites.com/

Ludvík Regner

He prefers figurative painting to abstract painting. The pictures are not painted in an academic style and precise photographic way, but the forms are "readable" and he tries to find a new way to present people by incorporating of the preparation process of drawing into the final painting.
The core set of paintings will be on the theme of Dialogues showing people in different positions and talking or communicating in different environments. These pictures will be in acrylics and oils. Another part of the exhibition could consist of charcoal drawings and drawings in a mixed technique and some pieces could be drawings in combination with painting. Sometimes he likes to use rough canvas, so one part of the exhibition could be done in that way. All his paintings are figurative paintings with persons, buildings, trees etc.

At the moment he studies painting at the "Académie des beaux-arts de Watermael-Boitsfort".
