Shades of Value Workshop

Shades of Value is a new workshop which Margaret has developed to teach drawing with graphite. This workshop is two days and covers 3 major points: Draw, Shade and Details.

During this workshop one will learn to draw accurately from a photo. This is a process used by many of the instructors who have written books. You will be amazed how easy it is. Margaret gives personal attention to each student. All supplies are provided.

This workshop is divided into 4 sessions. Session 1 covers all of the equipment used while learning Shades of Value. Session 2 involves creating a value scale and learning to develop shapes using shading. Session 3 will see your first project—a still life—develop before your very eyes. You will finish with a painting of an animal in your last session.
