Skip Hunt Photography PARTICLES
\\\"For this show I wanted to play around a bit and experiment with abstracts. I was curious whether or not the nature of composed abstract photographic images consisting of mostly color and texture... would still hold up when sliced and dissected into individual pieces.
I found that they did in fact hold up quite well! And in some cases, portions were even stronger than the whole.
The display was something I wanted to play around will as well, so I decided to slice up large abstracts into smaller pieces on a grid. I printed them and bagged each in a \\\"specimen\\\" acetate bag, and then used long pins similar to what you might use to do a dissection or display insects to put the entire piece back together like an assortment of butterflies making up a larger butterfly.\\\"

The display will be up for the entire month of October, so stop by and let me know what you think about it.
