Solid Rock Photography, in partnership with Cedar River Counseling Services seek to integrate arts with the mental health care industry. Starting January 21 through April 21, Solid Rock Photography will have 10 images on display in the waiting area. The images are the ones listed below on the wall!
These images were hand selected by Dr. Stan Miller for their calming, reflective feel to them. Renee Phillips, Director of the Manhattan Arts International stated the following about Dustin's work. "“Dustin is an extraordinary photographer with a keen eye for capturing the sublime in the ordinary. His light-filled photographs reveal the heart and soul of his subjects. As a curator of many exhibitions over two decades I have seen many photographs and I would categorize him among those rare artists who have a genuine gift of healing through art. Having observed his comments here on LinkedIn I am impressed his spirit of generosity always sharing his expertise, positive attitude and wisdom with others. I would be proud to recommend him in any capacity of his choice." Dr. Miller recognized that asked to the work as well, hence, the reason he wanted them to be on display in his office reception area.
These prints are listed as for sale! To purchase any of the images on display at the office, contact Dustin at 507-219-8371 or by email at dustin@solidrockphotography.org.
This will be an ongoing display that will be changed out throughout the seasons. Right now there is a winter theme with images from local places such as the Roosevelt Bridge, the Hormel Nature Center, and various other locations.
