Description:

This is a painting of Pikes Peak from Rampart Range Reservoir. It was a June day. Often thunder storms form over the peak in the early afternoon. I tried to capture the feeling of how it looks as the atmosphere thickens and a thunderstorm forms.
This painting is included in the 2008 Wind River Valley Artists' Guild National Show. July 17th through July 29, 2008. Please contact gallery for current price and availability.
