Butterflies reflect health of our environment.
Girl child reflect health of our society.
This is the painting of a young girl in a garden running after butterflies. Watching them with curiosity. And attempting to catch them.
God has created innumerable varieties of butterflies with a diverse plethora of colors for the children to play with and enjoy. The joyful atmosphere with children, especially, girls, bustling with energy is enviable.
A garden with girls running after the colorful butterflies- the delicate multi-hued beauties, in a free, careless and joyful atmosphere is the ultimate picture that every society should strive to achieve.
In these paintings the emphasis is on simplification of figures and the use of few vibrant colors. Figure of a single girl child dominates the space, and even extends beyond it. The figure stands out with bold outlines. The lines run freely with rhythmic flow. The figures are graceful with lyrical subtlety.
Another emphasis is on the simplification of the face, with little concern for the details, and more importantly without the use of any color or shade. The face is painted white as snow, depicting the innocence. It is such a simple and white color face that any girl can see her face in it.
The radiant face of the girl stands out vividly against the thick lines of hair flying in all directions as the breeze pass through them. Sunlight of the garden can be felt on the face with shadow on the neck.
The colorful atmosphere of the garden full of flowers and the butterflies is brought alive using a few vibrant colors with bold brush strokes.
The pure happiness in running after the winged beauties- the monarchs, the swallowtails, and others can only be experienced through the eyes of a child it is an earthly paradise.
