This original oil on canvas is now available in Giclee on canvas is from the historic Fort Worth Stockyards location, Captured on an extremely hot day in Texas.
Lush primary colors, dramatic shadowing showed real well in that legendary summer of 1980 in Fort Worth, Texas.
No one wanted to be out in it much. It was just to damn hot for too long that summer.
And of course I was out in it all day. Riding and taking photos, but I only suffered heat stroke twice that I can remember anyway and of course my wife says that summer explains a lot about how I now.
