Paul, you have painted such infinite depths into Dylan's eyes, that it does look as if you have touched on some sacred hidden space and brought it to the surface for us to feel, just as we can touch on it in his soulful melodies." Genius" is the word I'm looking for today!v/f

Paul, this portrait evidently reminds me of La Medusa, by Caravaggio. Without going into the psychology of it, which would be interesting in itself if my comparison clicks for you, or even the resemblance in images of Christ and the thorn crown, it is your visual "story" in each portrait that seems to come natural to you and is your natural gift. Being extremely bold is where you and are heading more so, and nevertheless or even more so, we as a group seem to love your work more for it. You touch the boundaries in each subject. We are watching your progress as you call it. You are not alone.

Paul Lovering replied:

A wwwwwwwwwwww I see the Medusa ! , such gifted words bound my way , how I love to read , a special thank you dear Greta , not can you paint but you encourage and inspire my dear friend .. Paulxx

WOW!!! Mesmeric and Messianic, Paul. This is a fabulous work of art! Reminds me of these lyrics from Shelter from the Storm: Suddenly I turned around and she was standin’ there With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns “Come in,” she said, “I’ll give you shelter from the storm” I love your painting and particularly your portraits of people like Dylan (but, as we know, there is only one person like him)

Paul Lovering replied:

Wow Frank that is a outstanding comment and those lyrics soooooooooooooo Rock , I am so delighted you like this Dylan and that you like my portraits , my success is all due to you fabulous guys ..... My best wishes and thanks Paul

Littleton, CO - United States

Ooooohhhh! There is a kind of wildness to this piece that I really enjoy! Almost like you painted it hard and fast, paint flying everywhere. Having so much paper show creates a very interesting composition in the wildness. Excellent as always.

Paul Lovering replied:

Yes your right Angelina , I painted fast layer on layer till I got the depth and soul of this legend !, my special thanks my friend .. Paul

Vancouver, B. - Canada

Nikki it is always Gold when you visit ! How thrilled you viewed and how delighted am I to have great friends here , a special thanks my good friend .. Paul

Peekskill, NY - United States

To me, the remarkable part of this extraordinary painting is the NOSE and its light reflection that dominates and balances the sharpness and determination of the slanted eyes and mouth under the canopy of wildness. A truly great character work.

Paul Lovering replied:

Awwwwwwwwwww how brilliant a message you send dear Greta , I am so delighted your view points in this portrait echo my thoughts , but it is you guys that determine my progress in my short career .... I thank you soooooooooooo much , a inspired Paul
