Description
This print by Alexandre Theophile Steinlen (1859-1923) was is from the French songbook by Paul Duelmet, Chansons de femmes (Enoch & Cie and Paul Ollendorff, 1896). Delmet's music sheets are accompanied by poetry from various writers (Henri Maigret, Armand Sylvestre, Jules Méry and others) and 15 prints by Steinlen - one for each song. The book is rare as only 50 copies were printed. This is number 15 (see second picture for this item). We are selling all 15 prints separately, please see our inventory for the others, they are all stunning and testify to the artists' great illustrating talent.
