Description:

A bouquet of lilies, zinnias, and cornflowers was the inspiration for this painting. Design elements in the background give a sense of depth to the painting. The flowers are not in a vase, but are painted as if just cut in preparation for arrangement in a vase. Colors are warm pinks and golds. The background is a creamy yellow, which gives unity to the piece.
