Description:

The egg tempera original painting is of an old abandoned farmhouse near Fairplay Georgia. It is over 100 years old and has been empty for decades. Like so many other old farmhouses in the rural south, this one has been abandoned when the family moved to the city for jobs after cotton was less profitable to grow.
