Thanks Fraida. We were based at a lodge and had an opportunity to be at ground level with the bears, as well as being able to see them at sunrise and sunset, well after any tundra buggies would have done their tours (not in this area either)

This is so beautiful Don. Seems like such a harsh landscape and the dozing polar bear adds a serenity and peacefulness to it!
