When I came to Montana, I was talking one day with an older man, and said something positive about time I had spent in the Keys; he looked at me skeptically, then said 'What are you? Part lizard?' so, this brings a smile… ^.^ BTW, those grasses in the upper right are done with a great delicacy and reserve…

Sitting, watching the garden come alive,
with creatures abound, some little, yet standing tall.
A tapestry of colorful wonderment
emerging out of the ruins into the light
making my day a sunny delight.
They know each others strengths
a common endeavor to survive the day
moving around looking for lunch, supper too
I ponder what life would be like without you.
eco- warriors who emerge out of the ruins
to cultivate an environment so pure
