Description of Shin Quilt

This art-quilt is a combination of 100% cotton prints and batiks. Much of this work was made from Northcott�s fabric called Stonehenge. I used Gutermann polyester thread to sew and quilt this work.

The Hebrew letter: Shin, the 21st in the Hebrew alphabet is represented in a very stylized form on the right lower part of this piece. The letter represents the name of God, change, fire, and air.

This art-quilt will have sleeves, (top and bottom), on the back of this art-quilt that will accommodate a 1x2 strip of wood for hanging purposes, and to keep the art-quilt flat. The strips of wood will not be included if this art-quilt is shipped via FedX or United Postal Service. The art-quilt shall be insured for the selling price no matter how it is shipped. If the buyer wishes, I will hand-deliver this piece (within the continental United States), or any art-quilt that I have in stock, in which case the wood hanging strips will come with me, and I will get a little trip out-of-town.
