Description
Wormhole through hyperspace. Artwork of a wormhole connecting two distant points in the universe through hyperspace. Galaxies are shown on the folded sheet representing normal space. This hypothetical method of travel (red lines) would shorten a journey that would take years even if travelling at or near the speed of light (following the curved space). The concept of curved spacetime, and using wormholes to travel to distant parts of the universe, follow from Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.
