Umpire Bob inspects a bat for regulation and splintering. Cincinnati and surrounding areas have vintage baseball teams who compete for fun. The re-enactors play by 1860-1870s rules. No gloves or helmets were worn then. Scary game! Cincinnati and surround areas have vintage baseball teams who compete for fun. Only one umpire was used and he was always dressed in his finery as he called the game. Base Ball was spelled as two words then and not the one word we know today.
