Description
The Skagit Valley, just outside of Mount Vernon Washington, fills with flowers starting in early spring. First the daffodils bloom, with fields of yellow and white dominating the contryside. But this is just the prelude to the real show. Next is the Tulips. Overlapping with the Daffodils for a couple of weeks, fields of every color of tulip turn the Skagit valley into a giant outdoor flowershop. The Highlight is th Skagit Valley Tulip Festvile held every year. Visiitors travel from all over the state and beyond to see these beautiful fields. A surpising fact is that most of these beautiful flowers will be chopped off so the bulbs can be harfested.....This field is filled with Yellow daffodils.
