Description:

The Ghost Wolf was a renegade that roamed the Judith Range near the turn of the last century. Local ranchers hunted the wolf using horses, planes, automobiles, and on foot. None of these methods where successful for several years, because the wolf was always able to elude the hunters. It has been estimated that "Ghost Wolf" did damage of over $10,000 in 1918 dollars to the herds before he was finally brought down. The piece is double matted in dark greys, covered in non-glare glass and framed in a dark wood.
