Painting - Acrylic
A poem, based on an actual day, many years ago.
A back ground of dark clouds, hangs over me..
And the sun sprinkles just a little of itself in the trees.
Flocks of birds fly by, headed to the places were they hide.
A rainbow, barley able to exist faintly paints itself in the sky..
Grateful lawns proud of their green, comfort the flowers letting them know the sun is sure to return.
People seek shelter from the promise of rain..And
I remain, letting the breeze play with me..
The rain never returned that Day..
The painting was named by my mother.
