Description
This photo was taken at the plaza here in New Orleans, Louisiana on Claiborne Ave and Felicity Street. This particular monument was constructed by an outcry by the public of the first monument design at another location blocks away. The first monument will also be included in my personal tribute. January 20 is Martin Luther King Day. Today is celebrated across America with public gatherings, speeches, parades. Today I attended the Martin Luther King Day parade here in New Orleans. As I walked up to the monument of the slain civil rights leader this is one of a series as my personal photographic tribute to one of America's most important political leaders." I Have A Dream",. May his dream continue to live on as an inspiration for all around the world. This photo was taken with a Nikon 820 macro zoom, auto settings.
