Painted en plein air (French for in the open air). About 85% completed on site and the balance finished in the studio. Used as a coor and atmosphere reference to paint two smaller versions along the same part of the shoreline. Robert G Wehle is NY's newest State Park, located on Lake Ontario, just below Henderson Harbor, It has no camp sites. The view here is a mile and one quarter walk and is near a day picnic area.
