Description
The Sea expresses a sense of quiet dignity and grace. Entitled The Sea because of Ms. Sabols proximity to the sea while creating this sculpture while living in New Zealand, the figure conveys a sense of calm and quiet anticipation. She has a far-away gaze and is turning her body as if about to greet a long-awaited loved one.
Lisbeth Sabol's exquisite sculptures are cast using the lost wax method of bronze-casting to capture the intricate detail of each piece. Hand-applied patinas add subtle color variation.
The Sea is cast in bronze and available in an artist limited edition of 100.
Each limited edition bronze is signed and numbered by the artist.
Lisbeth Sabol is known for her evocative, graceful sculptures in bronze and stone. Lisbeth has shown in galleries in New York City, London, Honolulu, New Zealand, and Italy. Her sculptures can be seen in the public collections of Rocky Mountain National Park, Glacier National Park, Quiet Waters Park, and in many private collections throughout the U.S. and abroad. Her work has won awards in regional, national, and international exhibitions.
