Description:

This original wall hanging is already sold. Please contact me if you are interested in a similar piece.... .....This is a commissioned wall hanging for an environmental architect's new home. The theme was of his choosing and I developed the design over a 2 month period of discussion. The piece itself took 2 months to make. The piece portrays the 6 days of creation and the seventh of rest, and includes all the existing groups and elements like air, water, earth, plants, animals, insects, birds and fish.

Gorgeous texture, innovative use of materials, and tell me if I am on target or not, quite an homage to Van Gogh, too! The asymmetrical assemblage is evocative of a house while it shows, as you explain, the elements of nature. Is the surface treated? Wondering how people keep fiber works from accumulating dust and dirt.
