Description:
This pendant is comprised of a black fused glass cabochon that's hand wrapped with heavy gauge tinned copper wire & topped off with a dyed purple New Zealand paua cabochon (20mm in diameter). The pendant is 6.5cm (from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant) and 4.5cm wide. A geometric, sleek & modern look.
This pendant was one of the pieces that I chose to highlight in a recent interview I did with Instablogs News Network (India / June 2007). The Editor that I worked with is named Pooja (which means 'worship'). I thought her name was so pretty that I decided to call this piece my 'Pooja Pendant' in honor of her & the occasion.
