I had a 427 Corvette so I guess I am semi-qualified to comment on this terrific photo. The strong horizontal lines that begin to diminish off to the left, to me, suggest the powerful acceleration that Chevy's mighty Big Block can deliver. It was amusing back in the day to see GM stating its engine as delivered "was 425 horsepower" when most knowledgeable people knew it was knocking on the 500 hp door. Yazzah!
