The clock at the North Beach Pier, this is the first time that I composed a shot with this clock in the frame. Perhaps, the frustration of not being able to get on the beach legally, aided in my choice of framing? All of the gates leading to the beach(es) were locked, and there was no attendant in sight to ask permission, unlike the previous times that I have visited here. Jump the fence, or not....hmmm.....yup, I actually followed the rules today! Whatever posessed me?
It was a cold and blustery morning, and the colors were not so great, as the marine layer was a bit too thick for the sun to break through. Funny thing is, the weather forecast at 11pm last night said mostly clear! My learnings from the forecasts....when it calls for clear, it will be cloudy....and when it calls for cloudy, it will be clear! It still turned out to be a great morning, as it always is when I shoot with my buddy, Reggie. If you haven't already, you really should check out his work, as it continually inspires me.
