I am so totally in awe of how you can paint something in oils, that actually looks better than 90 per cent of all photographs I have seen. Randy, as always, your comments are so personal and thoughtfully written, not only for me, but for all the artists' work you acknowledge. In this scene, I tried to capture that magical time of day, just before dusk, when sun paints a landscape in a rich, glowing, golden tones of color.

Doug, this is an incredibly beautiful painting!! It is such a charming and beautiful scene and so detailed, right down to the little ducks along the path. Thanks so much for you glowing comment and support. For some reason, the image presented here doesn't do the original justice. As one of my personal favorites, it fails to gain the attention many of my other paintings do. Perhaps, it's just too small to be fully appreciated here.
