A Snowflake with a stellar (or dendritic) crystal form, formed in a cloud when water freezes at negative fifteen degrees Celsius. When crystallization occurs slowly, in calm air and in temperatures near the freezing point, snowflakes will exhibit hexagonal symmetry.
