Description:

On a cold and frigid night in Presque Isle, Maine, I am out wandering around looking for something interesting to photograph and I thought this would be a great selection. I took out my tripod and set everything up so I could do some HDR captures and it worked out better than I had hoped for. I loved how the clouds were low and the dark blue skies above.

This is a typical landscape of this area during this time of the year. It is cold, the air is fresh and clean, along with the snow frozen to the trees. I was hoping for a moose to wander by, but I just could not stay out very long due to the sub zero temperatures so with this image I called it a night! Photography by Gary Smith
